I'm developing software since I was a kid. I live in Montreal, Canada with my wife, my princess Ratil. I was weaned as a software developer on Microsoft BASIC in the 90's with z80 at the age 17, starting with my first PC Pentium 4, I continued programming on the PC with Turbo Pascal and C ++ , although I also spent significant time writing C++ in the first versions of Borland C++Builder. I am now quite comfortable in Java or C#, and I'm currently learning Go.

I consider myself a reasonably experienced software developer with a particular interest in the human side of software development. Computers are fascinating machines, but they're mostly a reflection of the people using them. In the art of software development, studying code isn't enough; you have to study the people behind the software, too.

I'm highly motivated by learning new technology and with this blog I can share these with the global software development communities.

Anyway this blog is a resource for myself, as I can’t remember EVERYTHING, and I hope it also serves as a resource to others. Over my career I have found so many valuable pieces of information from blogs of others. I thought it was about time that I contribute back to this community with some articles of my own.

I've worked at startups, where a developer is a real full-stack developer (from frontend to backend, from building to maintaining, from the cave to customer-facing meetings) and also at big companies, where stability and keeping high product quality standards is a must. Along my career I have been involved usually in development, design and architecture, for small and huge projects. Worked in waterfall and agile environments.

Now I'm working at a Canadian company as ECM Designer for a projects based on microservices. I like keeping ways of working as practical as possible but, at the same time, producing proper documentation and sharing knowledge.
